Yes, but I suspect you're talking about the files you downloaded. You've downloaded plenty of them. Most of them are as irrelevant as you already think they are  I'm not sure what you mean by "the 1 not-jpg (and the gif from that)". If it means what it kind of sounds like it means, you're still missing more than one file.

I've got four jpgs (one of which just has the extension jpg, but isnt) and one gif. I've hex edited galore, but can't work out in what way I might have to 'shuffle' or 'unshuffle' any of these to create something meaningful. I also can't work out what relevance 'gfx' has.

I've noticed a pattern in the first jpg, but can't work out how to exploit this, as it lacks the 'black and white' clarity of, say, level 11.

Thanks for any help.

EDIT: Solved it! Knowing JPEG magic bytes was handy...

Hint: Look for sequences and follow them.

What did the second one in your sequence say? Don't tell me, I already know  Look at it again, and pay attention to what it said -- do something with it.

Corrupt cards?

I've retrieved the deck, and unshuffled it into piles. Each pile identifies itself as a particular kind of file, but the file contents are all corrupt. What am I missing here?

You must've misshuffled something. *One* of the files is indeed broken, but not enoug to make in unusable to certain viewers, but the others are fine when unshuffled correctly.

You're right - I made an arithmetic error, and had smaller files than I was supposed to. Everything is fine now!

Mozilla or Firefox are able to open the corrupt file.

If you look at all the words, it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out what to do with them.

Still stuck

So I've unshuffled the deck and am presented with a word. I've tried the word, but get nowhere. There seems to be something special about part of the word, but I don't know what that means.

Any further hints?

You should have 5 parts, and it should be clear what parts apply and what parts don't. The parts that apply form the correct word.

Ooops

I don't know how many times I thought I typed that in correctly, but today it just works... I guess I just can't type.

I also messed up a counter in my code, which made the last picture come up first, but also corrupted.
