Re: Level 6

This is super fun :)
I spent most time getting the input file. Once I got it it was smooth and fun ride as I learnt a bit about python and a bit about *** files.

Thanks for all the hints I was pretty desperate when I couldn't get the data. I know it seems to be obvious once you get there but damn if you have one of those mental blackouts it's easy to despair :)

Re: Level 6

I know I'm late to this party, but I'd really like a couple of hints here. I eventually managed to get the set of files necessary and, looking inside them, I can see there's a link to previous puzzles, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to work. I've set up a dictionary and I went to the starting point and ran with a modified previous answer, but it just took me back to the peak. I'm kind of stuck now and would appreciate any hints, subtle or not.

Have you properly traversed the list? At the end you should find a very helpful message. Take the message literally. It might help to look at some of the lesser-used features of the PKZIP spec.

Re: Level 6

Hey guys,

I'm stuck. I've tried to un[noun] the [noun] in every possible way but there are simply no c******* to c******! And I'm pretty sure that I know all the necessary modules. Is it possible that the [noun] got someway broken or something?

Help, please, I couldn't sleep because of it :)

Re: Level 6

Nice challenge.
The file works fine.
Keep in mind that not only the file itself can have [nouns] but also all files in it can have [nouns].
Then read the python doc about the 'big' file and you will see how to get the [nouns].
\n ...
