Is there any point in mucking about with the obvious standard python library module (the one that can open the attached file)? I know the sample size is 16 bit, I know the framerate, and I could muck with those values.
However, if the data should be interpreted in alternative ways, please give me hints there. Or should I look for hidden data instead. I am still too much in the dark.

The blame probably is on me (one of the ideas I suggested) --I just offered the hint too, thinking that it would be more obvious to non-english speaking geeks than to english ones

I fear I may be responsible the idea for level 18, and who knows what future levels are going to be based on the other suggestions I made...
So either we had the same idea, or contributed different parts of the puzzle
