Ok.....
So I think I have to convert form b-- e----- to l----- e----- (or the other way round) but have no idea how! I cant find anything online or in the documentation.

This is the first level where I've been unable to do the programming bit when I think I know what I need to do.

Any help would be more than welcome!!

Remember, Leopold is an old guy, and he doesnt take kindly to those young little whippersnappers.

The change is indeed not documented well, so if you need some additional help, feel free to PM me.

help

none of this forum has been any help. I've read the clues and looked at the jumbled garbage that is called a wav (although its not a wav as wavs start with the header RIFF afaik). I tried saving the data in a file and listening but it is not a true wav format. I tried binhexing it as the url suggested but it is not a wav format. Can someone give me a start on this one?

Can someone push me in the right direction?

I'm really stuck here. I've managed to decode the junk in the page source, and heard the obvious word, which led me to a page saying "why are you <blah>?" I think I've also figured out what's wrong with the image (and what all the hints are pointing at) and the point about L.'s computer being old. However, I'm not sure how to apply this "technique" to the original data. There are a variety of ways, none of which have worked....any help?

Feel free to pm me.

As I said in my previous post, look at the picture, it has something to do with L's computer

Done!

Alright, I finally cracked it. I was on the right track, just figured some of what I was doing was above and beyond. I wouldn't have thought I was trying weird stuff had I known about the module in the standard library.

L's broken file

I have solved this level but there was a clue that I did not use.
L asked me if I had found his broken file with
md5: bbb8b4_______________________
I have tried md5 for the wav file but that is different.

Where can I find this file?

I'm at a few levels down the road and I probably did here at 19 what I was supposed to do later on.
But still no clue where to look for that file.
