Suggestion on #5 (peak hell) <Warning: Contains Spoilers&

Getting pickle from peak hell seems like a stretch to me, especially when there is a nix command, pkill, which is what you really get when you "pronounce it". I'm guessing a lot of people have to resort to additional clues for that one. Anyway, maybe it could have some additional subtle clues. Something like, "It's a real dill-y of a puzzle", "Hopefully you'll relish this banner" or some other lame pickle clue :-)

Agreed. I thought it was referring to the "peekl" command from BASIC. I think "peak hell" sounds more phonetically like "peekl" than the Python module to which it is referring.

I agree. I'm sure it would click at once for those who have ever used or heard of the pickle module before (or that eat a lot of pickles), but for those who haven't, it may not be something that "sounds familiar".
