Take your time examining the second image in your favourite image editor.

If it's what I think it makes no sense, though the image filename suits...

One has to see the second image outside the browser to make the connection with its name, then take better notice of the first image and understand the numerical hint.

Nice! Your hint was most helpful. Sad that there is nothing further yet...

Though I don't have any clue what the red means...

I rearranged the pixels, and see some characters, but it's not a URL. What else could it mean?

Some characters? Weird, I only saw a picture.

The red pixels form a word if pixels are arranged in a certain (wrong) way, but it's a false alarm.

Thanks for the hint.

I've gone back and written the pixels in the opposite order, and guessed (incorrectly) a few URLs based on the image, but now I'm stuck again.

You need to order the pixels totally different. Think some more about all the clues; taken all together, they give a pretty good idea of what to do with the pixels.

I did use the HTML comment hint and the first image hint while arranging my pixels.

If you did take heed of the first image and the HTML hint and did the relevant, correct transformation, you should be able to see an image that's definitely identifiable. Use the name of what you see to proceed.

The red is a URL now, with a hint that you did something wrong. I suspect that there may be a tie in between this and a next level though, in the same way levels 12 and 13 where connected.

SIlly me. I had it right all along (well, after the correction for the false alarm), but had typed the wrong variable name at the command prompt, thus causing me to create a bad image.

On to Level 15!
