A level -1
The most difficult part of the challenge is figuring out the opaque instructions about (a) answering problems and (b) getting access to the solutions. I think a reasonable idea would be to introduce a level -1 question:
"The answer is 'cat'"
...together with an explanation prominently linked from your front page as to how you go about solving it, how you get to the next puzzle, and how you also activate the solution forum page. Currently I'd call your instructions oblique at best.
