Unfortunately, I have a len(result) == 118 and that gives me a 'invalid data stream' exception, so I am not quite there yet, though certainly close.

I found a hint, and I followed the hint, but it just leads me back to where I've already been. Now what?

This level does not have a single minus, but it could have some pluses that confuse you.

I get stream errors trying to decompress, even after doing the proper conversion to binary. I have 117 bytes: am I missing any?

Hmm, I don't get it. I decompressed another way which should be equivalent to the way I was doing it, but it's not: it worked this time.

...tell him what he needs to know? Tried three methods, two of which were used before. No go....

Look at the big picture. Figure out how you found the new chain. Look at the big picture again. (And once you've got it, remember what + means.)

(Mind you, I still haven't found out how to tell L about the Fs---he doesn't listen. Eh? Eh?)

I wanted to play, so I went back and found some pluses. I wonder if they are the same ones.

I found only two of those, part of a sequence of length 118. I found out what I did wrong with that sequence (a simple variation of the function used) and went on to the next step, the solution to which is still quite opaque to me. L seems quite deaf ATM.

Damn I feel stupid. I'm still stuck right at the beginning. I too want to play, so I need to go back. But back to where? I tried all I can think of at the moment, but nothing works.

But please don't give me any hints yet, I'm going to persist in trying to figure this out myself.
